03-1 - 師大原創音樂劇《愛情當舖》配樂 (Pawnshop of Love)

關於作品 About the Work：
本作品為 2023 年國立臺灣師範大學音樂系原創音樂劇《愛情當舖》第三幕第一首配樂。

作為全劇情感轉折的重要篇章，這段配樂不僅要支撐舞台上的戲劇張力，更需精準捕捉角色在「愛」與「代價」之間的掙扎與對話。

在創作設計上，我特別注重旋律與台詞（VO）之間的呼吸感，透過層次分明的配器引導觀眾進入角色的內心世界。由於是現場樂團編制，音樂中保留了高度的動態空間，展現了在音樂劇創作中，如何兼顧旋律的美感與舞台敘事的節奏控制。這件作品不僅是在音樂劇領域的紀錄，更是與跨領域藝術家、指揮及樂團共同磨合後的完整呈現。

This work features the opening score of Act III from the original musical Pawnshop of Love, performed at the 2023 National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) Department of Music "MUsick-An Addictive Night." As a pivotal chapter in the musical’s emotional arc, the score was designed to heighten the dramatic tension while capturing the characters' internal struggles between love and its costs.

In the compositional process, I prioritized the "breath" between the melody and the dialogue, utilizing layered instrumentation to guide the audience into the characters' inner worlds. Written for a live orchestral ensemble, the music maintains a wide dynamic range, demonstrating my ability to balance melodic lyricism with the rhythmic demands of stage narrative. This project stands as a testament to my experience in musical theatre and my capacity for seamless collaboration with directors, conductors, and live performers.
